Dancy Construction Company, Inc.

Dancy Construction Co. started as a custom home and commercial building company that was formed in the 1960's by the late Norman Dancy in Winston-Salem NC. The company soon became known for its quality construction and reliability in the community; and eventually became a family business when son Beau and daughter Katherine decided to join the company in the late 1970s. Together they built and successfully developed many projects such as the development of Charlestowne and Jamestowne townhomes, Westhaven and Coventry cluster homes, and Tanners Park townhomes on South Marshall St, Winston Salem NC.

Upon Norman Dancy's death in 1998, Beau and Katherine continued the business, including upfitting the old Indera Mills factory buildings into condos (Mill at Tar Branch), along with finishing the interior of a new mid rise 30 unit condo building (Tar Branch Towers) across the street on Marshall St. in Winston-Salem NC.

Dancy Construction Co., is currently building fine custom homes in the Piedmont Triad area.  As a general contractor Dancy Construction does remodeling and additions to existing homes.  We also have extensive experience in commercial upfit for restaurants and businesses.
